Thakur Sahaib Madan Singh Ji Danta was born in 1920, educated at Mayo College, Ajmer; served as Captain in the Sawai Man Guards, and later served in the Rajendra Hazari Guards,
Chairman of the Rajasthan unit of Parishad, elected to the Vidhan Sabha in 1952, married Thakurani Nand Kanwar of Kacholya in Kishangarh, and has issue.

• Kunwar Dalip Singh. married Kunwarani Kumud Kumari of Khawa.
• Kunwar Jitendra Singh, married Kunwarani Chandra Kiran Kumari of Hanutpura.
• Kunwar Karan Singh, married Kunwarani Krishna Kumari of Gudiya.
• Kunwar Rajendra Singh, married Kunwarani Nutan Kumari of Ratlam.

PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY:

Danta was a state tax thikana feudataria protected Jaipur, the Shekawati, Rajputana. Not to be confused with the principality of Danta.
Raja Bir Singh Deo of Khandela Losal gave the village and nine others to his son Kunwar Amar Singh of which begins the saga. The Thakur Amar Singh built the fort of the Rajpur 1646 and Losal of the 1654 and 1669 was the town of Dante's Maharaja Jaswant Singh of Jodhpur. The 1699 Rattan Singh established the capital Danta, the 1754 Bhawani Singh built a fort at Danta. In 1827 the town received Sardul Singh Bhadana of the Maharaja of Jodhpur, but his only son before he died and was succeeded by his brother Balwant Singh, who also left his children was successively psssar collateral branches to Cork oak branch which was consolidated in 1928as the Thakur Ganga Singh if they had children (one of whom, Madan Singh, succeeded him in the title).
Danta is a village in Rajasthan, India. Danta Fort is a historical site near the village. The fort, known as Danta Dera Fort, is now a heritage hotel.
Karni Mata Temple located near the village, which is made by Thakur Madan Singh Danta, and donated to Sayar Baisa (lady who use to perform the pooja in the temple) along with 300 bega land to meet the expenses to run the temple.Originally the temple building was a hunting lodge. The village was first settled by Thakur Amar Singh Shekhawat, about 400 years back.

Raja Bir Singh Deo of Khandela granted the village of Losal with nine others to his son, Kunwar Amar Singh. Rulers were....



• Thakur Amar Singh Ji, constructed a fort at Rajpura in 1646, and later at Losal in 1654, he was granted the village of Danta by Maharaja Jaswant Singh Ji of Jodhpur in 1669, married and had issue. He died after 1669.

Rani Shakuntala Devi, married Rana Arjun Singh Ji of Jobat, and had issue.

  3. Balraj Bana, Nice to see that you have put the information on public domain.Last time when I visited Bhagatpura/Bikaner I saw few more photos of late Thakur shri Madan Singhji sahab, I could not copy it but next time I shall be taking their copy and put on FB/blog.
